The foot massage is also called Reflexology. According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine the foot resembles a miniature human body.
Each group of cells of the foot functions in correspondence with a human organ. In other words every organ, gland, and physiological feature has its counterpart in a reflex point in the foot. For this reason it is preferable to treat the whole person by treating the whole foot. By working on the reflection of the nerve end, has direct impact on cellular development. Its impact will multiply when reaching various human organs and adjusting their function such as digestion, growth, nervous reflection, and endocrine and hormone secretion. Treatment of the whole body through the feet is given to correct generalised imbalances as part of the complete reflexology session.
Four standard herbal recipes are available for common ailments. A recipe can be made to suit your own needs and constitution.
The herbs are ingested through the ‘Acu points’ of the feet rather than experiencing the bitter taste in the mouth. What are the benefits?
